This is another gem if you want to avoid the crowds of Maui's more "glamorous" beaches.<br /><br />This is the real site of the former airport. You enter and park on the former runway. On weekdays, the beach should be truly un-crowded. Ai'opio Beach is a great little beach with historic artifacts on the big island of Hawaii.
